Dear Parents,
Welcome! I am excited to be working with you and your child this school year. My name is Ms. Sarah Bell, and I bring over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including roles in daycare, GSRP, Afterschool Programs, and Head Start, where I’ve served as a lead teacher, academic coach, program director, and early childhood consultant.
My educational background includes an Associate’s Degree of Applied Sciences in Early Childhood Development from Baker College of Owosso, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Child Development from Marygrove College, a Master’s Degree in Reading Literacy from Marygrove College, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. On a personal note, I have a six-month-old son, Santonio, who fills my life with joy and is truly a blessing from God.
I believe strongly in the partnership between teachers and parents to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and responsibility. I look forward to a wonderful, productive school year and encourage you to view my classroom as your own. Please feel free to volunteer whenever you can.
